July 7, 2024 at 8:39 amFieldmann does make sewing easy. I learnt the act of manning the machine with ease which was something I used to struggle with. With basic knowledge I’m already sewing as at an highintermediate level. As long as you can imagine it you can sew it. Thanks fieldmann
Fast forward to 2022 and done with advance classes. I’m proud of the knowledge I’ve acquired so far as well as the expertise attained in sewing. It’s not been easy with having a full time job and juggling weekend classes. My instructor was the best as she was ever so patient and always positive. Thank you once again Fieldmann for creating an avenue to learn creative tailoring.

July 7, 2024 at 8:39 amMy perception before enrolling into fashion school was that fashion is for the creative minds who have innate ability to create art. Most tailors make one feel like it is a skill that needs years to acquire.
I enjoyed the instructor’s friendliness and open mindedness towards teaching each student . The instructor encouraged learning at each student’s pace. I really love the one on one teaching.
Fieldman has helped me appreciate the power of patience in creating outfits. It has also helped me think outside the box and explore the creativity I didn’t think I had.

July 7, 2024 at 8:39 amI wanted to build my knowledge on practical tailoring. So I sort after fashion institutions that offer essential foundations of tailoring using the pattern drafting method. I tried out some schools and wasn’t getting the value of proper sewing foundation. After a period of time Creative Tailoring Class was referred to me, I signed up for a 3 months basic course for female apparel. From having no clue on how to use a sewing machine; drafting patterns for female wear (skirts, tops and gowns), I became well grounded in setting up and using a sewing machine and drafting patterns for dresses, tops and skirts with ease. Felt like a ‘pro’ lol.
