Their lectures standard are world class. They put into consideration the fact that every student learn at different paste. So they literally come down to your level and encourage you to be the best you can be at any point in time.
They use industrial sewing machines for all their classes.
The Director supports entrepreneurs every now and then which I am a benefactor.
The school has a foundation which gives out scholarships to students who can not afford to pay the fees but are passionate about fashion business.
Every last Friday of the month, the school organizes fabric week where students gets to create and showcase their beautiful work. On these days also the school brings in entrepreneurs who are doing well in their respective field to train and lecture the student of Gmyt Fashion Academy. So far beyond cutting and sewing you will learn about fashion business in it truest reality.
GYMT fashion Academy is replicate of what you can get in USA, UK, Paris, UAE, Turkey the list goes on…….. Why spend so much traveling outside the country to study fashion why you have GMYT right under your nose.
Another thing the Director (Princess Oghene Kelechi) of GMYT does is that she support and project the fashion line of her students.
I joined GYMT in MARCH 2019 and the progress has been immeasurable.

July 6, 2024 at 1:39 pmThis school is an ABSOLUTE SHAM. Don’t be deceived by the FALSE reviews. GMYT cares absolutely nothing for students. They change their teachers ever single day, no consistency at all and this has affected students greatly. So many people have nothing to show for being at the school for one year. The owner, Princess Oghene has a very inflated sense of importance and does not trust the people she has employed in certain positions to make decisions. Most of the teachers there are absolute sycophants and scared of her. An absolute MESS of a school. Save your money and RUN!

Each class session is with hands on practice The environment, class room facility., fully air conditioned with 24 hours power supply. Each student to a sewing machine.
Also quality teaching and learning aids .
GMYT is really adding values to a lot of women and youth in the area of fashion.
Both the technical and the business part.
Indeed raising the next generation of entrepreneurs.
